THE NO 1 REASON PROPERTY MANAGERS GET FIRED
As a business owner, I have learned over the years that I need to rely on data to make decisions. I learned early on that I couldn’t just rely on my gut instincts, especially if I wanted to grow my company.
In January of 2020, I wrote a blog that was posted to Bigger Pockets. The post contained information that I had acquired over an eighteen month period while talking to over 300 investors across the country. I proposed the same question to each investor over and over again, I wanted to know the number one reason why Property Managers got fired!

I was especially interested in hearing this feedback because as a Property Management firm, we have a vested interest in keeping clients so long as it makes sense for that client to keep their income generating property. I quickly realized that GC Realty & Development’s average customer lifespan was far longer than the average for the industry.
While sorting through the feedback I had received, I also identified the weakness in all of the firms that had been fired. Lucky for us, we were already operating at a capacity that was using that weakness as a strength.
Check out the article I wrote on Bigger Pockets and see the top 6 reasons why property owners fire their property manager. This will also give you insight of how we try to do things differently here at GC Realty & Development, LLC.
