What date is rent due?
Rent is typically due on the first of the month but please refer to your lease for any specifics to your terms. -
Is there a grace period before a late fee charge is applied to my ledger?
Typically there is a 5 day grace period and a late fee is charged on the 6th day after the due date. Refer to your lease for any specifics to your individual terms. -
Where can I find a copy of my lease?
When you signed your lease an electronic version of your executed lease would have been emailed to you. If you are unable to locate the executed lease in your email, you can send a request for a copy of the lease to residents@gcrealtyinc.com. -
How do I pay my rent?
Most residents pay online using your resident portal where you can pay using a checking account. -
Can I set my rent payments on recurring autopay?
Yes, in your resident portal you can set up a recurring payment using your checking. -
Can I mail or drop off my rent monthly?
Yes, all mailed or dropped off to 219 E Irving Park Rd Roselle, IL 60172 (½ mile east of Roselle Rd) -
Can I drop off rent after hours at the office?
Yes, Residents can drop rent payments made by check or money order in the lockbox (pictured below) at the office in Roselle. -
How can I pay my rent in cash?
Yes we do accept cash payments but you must utilize one of our PayNearMe partners. Using your resident portal, under “Electronic Cash Payments” you can click “download Payslip” and using this slip you can take it to any of the PayNearMe partners near you. Walmart, CVS, & 7-Eleven are just a few of the PayNearMe partners. -
Can I bring cash to the office to pay my rent?
No, we will not accept cash rent payments at our office or in the rent drop lockbox. -
How can I see how much I owe in current and/or past due rent?
In your resident portal you will be able to view your full account ledger with full detail you need to breakdown past and future money owed/due. -
What if I am unable to pay my rent?
Communication with your Property Manager is crucial in these times so please let your Property Manager know by emailing residents@gcrealtyinc.com and also check out the current Rental Assistance Programs that will be able to help you in a time of need. -
What if I lost or forgot my Resident Portal login and password?
On the resident portal login page you can simply click “Forgot Your Password” and it will take you through the steps to reset your password. -
What if my Resident portal is not allowing me to make payments online?
Per most lease agreements GCR&D has the right to cut off the ability to make online payments if you are in a collection legal status or have a certain amount of NSF occurrences. If you are unable to make a payment online, please email residents@gcrealtyinc.com to figure out next steps. -
Can I make a partial rent payment?

When will I have to pay my lease renewal fee?
As soon as the lease has been signed by all parties Finance is adding the charge and it is due that day. -
Can I have a different Appfolio Resident portals for me and my roommates?
Yes, Every financially responsible person on the lease has the ability to create their own personal login/portal. This gives them privacy for their payment information that can be housed there. Every portal then shows the current balance due.
